How to Make Caramel Apple Crepes for Fall Breakfast

The contrast between the cinnamon, sweetness of the apples, and the caramel makes this dessert just so much more delicious. It is fall all wrapped up and ready to eat!

Ingredients Needed:
- Butter
- Apples
- Apple juice
- Sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Cinnamon
- Caramel sauce

Helpful Information:
- The crepes have a light apple flavor that’s delicious! If you want basic crepes just swap the juice for more milk and add around ¼ cup more sugar
- You can refrigerate for up to 3 days and heat them in the oven. Just like you would reheat tortillas.

How to make Caramel Apple Crepes
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 ½ cups apple juice
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of cinnamon
- 2 cups flour
- butter for cooking
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 apples peeled and sliced
- ¼ cup apple juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Blend all the crepe ingredients until the mixture is creamy and frothy. Cover and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile prepare the filling: Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the butter and saute for 5 minutes. Pound the apple juice, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon and stir to combine. Cook for 15 minutes or until the apples have softened. Add the caramel sauce and stir to combine. Remove from heat.
- Prepare the crepes: Heat the butter in a skillet. Ladle around ⅓ Cup batter onto the skillet and swirl to coat the whole skillet. Cook for 1 minute, carefully flip and cook for 1 more minute. Repeat the process with the rest of the batter.
- Stuff the crepes with the caramel apple filling and fold. Drizzle with more caramel sauce and serve.
