Why You’ll Love This Recipe
This Irish mojito is a classic mint mojito recipe made using Jameson Irish Whiskey and green food coloring to make a fresh tasting drink perfect for enjoying on St. Patty’s Day.
It is easy to make and even easier to drink. You can even use this recipe as base to make it in a punch bowl for a party.

Recipe Ingredients
Fresh Lime Juice – You can use premade lime juice but I do prefer freshly squeezed lime juice from using fresh limes.
Fresh Mint Leaves – You will want to mince the mint and save a mint sprig for garnish. Nothing beats a fresh mint flavor.
Simple Syrup – You can use premade simple syrup or make your own (just make sure the sugar dissolves entirely)
Jameson Whiskey – You can use your favorite Irish whiskey if you wish.
Bacardi Lemon – You can also use lemon-lime soda or white rum instead.
Green Food Coloring – You can skip this if you want but it does give the cocktail and overall green color.
Club Soda – You will just need a splash of club soda or ginger ale and you can also use ginger beer.
Storage Information
- Store any leftovers in the fridge and consume within 24 hours (the carbonation may be flat at this point but still should taste just fine).
