Ingredients
- 2 boxes Little Debbie Christmas Tree Snack Cakes
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 18 ounces white chocolate chips
- red cookie icing (not gel, the cookie icing will harden)
- green sanding sugar
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper and set aside.
- Crumble the Christmas Tree Cakes and add them to a large mixing bowl.
- Cut the cream cheese into large chunks and add to the bowl.
- Use a hand mixer to combine the cream cheese and Christmas Tree Cakes.
- Use a 1 1/2 inch cookie scoop to roll the Christmas Tree Cake mixture into balls.
- Place the balls onto the parchment lined baking sheet.
- Once all of the batter is rolled, move these to the freezer to chill for 1 hour.
- After that, add the white chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 20 second increments, stirring well in between, until melted.
- Drop the melted chocolate over the truffles, letting the excess drip back into the bowl.
- Place the covered truffles back onto the parchment and quickly sprinkle with sanding sugar.
- Repeat for all of the truffles.
- Once all of the truffles are coated and sprinkled, use the cookie icing to draw red lines onto the truffles, resembling the Christmas Tree Cakes.
- Move the truffles to the refrigerator to chill for one more hour.
- Break off any collected extra chocolate or icing from the bottom of the truffles & enjoy.
