How to Make Easter Blondies (Easter Dessert Bars)

These Easter Blondies are so easy to make! They are a dessert bar that is a cross between a brownie and a dense piece of cake. It is moist, delicious and has a bit of crunch to it.

Ingredients Needed:
- Unsalted Butter: Salted butter will make these too salty so make sure to use unsalted.
- Light Brown Sugar: Can also use dark brown sugar
- Granulated Sugar: This is just regular white sugar.
- Large Eggs
- Vanilla Extract: I prefer pure vanilla extract
- All Purpose Flour
- Baking Powder: Not the same as baking soda
- Salt
- Easter M&Ms

How to make Easter Blondies for a delicious and fun spring treat
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup Easter M&Ms
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and line a square baking dish with parchment.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugars.
- Add the eggs and vanilla, and whisk to combine.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Slowly add the flour mixture, whisking, and then folding with a spatula once the dough begins to thicken.
- Continue until all flour is added, careful not to over mix.
- Fold in the M&M candies.
- Spread the dough into the parchment lined baking sheet, and bake 35-40 minutes. The blondies will be puffy and golden brown.
