How to Make A Poke Cake with Reese’s Pieces

Reese’s Poke Cake

How to make a Reese's Poke Cake at home
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 6 oz. box instant chocolate pudding
- 2 cups milk
- 1 can vanilla frosting
- 1 cup reese’s pieces candy
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and in a large mixing bowl combine brown sugar, eggs, butter, vanilla, peanut butter, and stir until light and fluffy.
- In another medium size bowl mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and then pour into the bowl of wet ingredients and stir, until a creamy cake-like batter has formed.
- Pour into a 9×11 baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool for 15 minutes while you begin to mix up the chocolate pudding.
- In a large bowl combine pudding mix and milk and stir until a thick pudding has formed, let sit in the fridge until ready to use.
- Take the end of a wooden spoon and poke 12 holes in your peanut butter cake and then pour the chocolate pudding in each of the holes.
- Top with vanilla frosting and swirl the vanilla frosting with any leftover chocolate pudding.
- Top with Reece’s pieces candy and a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
- Cut into slices and Enjoy.
