PREP TIME: 15 minutes
This Shark Bait Snack mix is a fun treat to make with the kids for Shark Week!

  • 3 ½ cups popped popcorn
  • 2 ½ cups rice chex cereal
  • 1 ½ cups pretzel twists
  • 1 tbsp. Blue sprinkles
  • 12 oz. white candy melts
  • 12 oz. blue candy melts
  • Gummy shark candies

  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Layer half of the popcorn, half of the cereal, and half of the pretzels.
  • In microwave safe bowls, melt both of the candy melts by microwaving for 30 second increments.
  • Allow the candy melts to cool enough to handle, and pour into frosting piping bags.
  • Snip off the ends, and drizzle both colors over the layered snack mix, just enough to get a good coating. Set the melted candy aside.
  • Layer on the rest of the popcorn, cereal, and then pretzels.
  • Drizzle more melted candy over that layer.
  • Sprinkle sprinkles over, and let the snack mix set for 15-20 minutes for the candy to set.
  • Break apart the snack mix and candy, and add to a serving bowl. Drop in gummy shark candies- as many as you want to add.
  • Enjoy!
