How to Make Shark Week Snack Mix
This adorable Shark Bait Snack Mix is perfect for making with the kids to enjoy while you watch Shark Week.
It is also great to serve up at Shark themed or under the sea parties.

Notes:
- Melt the candy melts in 30 second intervals in the microwave. Stir in between each cooking session and be careful not to burn.
- Store leftovers in a Ziploc baggie or in a airtight container at room temperature away from any moisture or heat.
- You can use additional candy such as blue M&M’s or even blue raspberry lemonade Swedish Fish.
Shark Bait Snack Mix
PREP TIME: 15 minutes
This Shark Bait Snack mix is a fun treat to make with the kids for Shark Week!
Ingredients
- 3 ½ cups popped popcorn
- 2 ½ cups rice chex cereal
- 1 ½ cups pretzel twists
- 1 tbsp. Blue sprinkles
- 12 oz. white candy melts
- 12 oz. blue candy melts
- Gummy shark candies
Instructions
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Layer half of the popcorn, half of the cereal, and half of the pretzels.
- In microwave safe bowls, melt both of the candy melts by microwaving for 30 second increments.
- Allow the candy melts to cool enough to handle, and pour into frosting piping bags.
- Snip off the ends, and drizzle both colors over the layered snack mix, just enough to get a good coating. Set the melted candy aside.
- Layer on the rest of the popcorn, cereal, and then pretzels.
- Drizzle more melted candy over that layer.
- Sprinkle sprinkles over, and let the snack mix set for 15-20 minutes for the candy to set.
- Break apart the snack mix and candy, and add to a serving bowl. Drop in gummy shark candies- as many as you want to add.
- Enjoy!
