How to make an easy candy corn fudge for fall

Ingredients

  • 3 cups white chocolate chips divided
  • 12 ounces sweetened condensed milk divided
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. butter divided
  • 16 pieces of candy corn optional
  • Orange gel food coloring
  • Yellow gel food coloring

Instructions

  • Line a square baking dish with wax paper or parchment, and set aside.
  • For the yellow layer, add 1 cup white chocolate chips, 1/2 tbsp. butter, and about 1/3 of the can of sweetened condensed milk (about 6 1/2 tbsp.), to a microwave safe bowl.
  • Heat for 30 seconds. Stir well, and then heat for 30 seconds more. The mixture should be melted.
  • Add 1-2 drops of yellow food coloring, and stir until there are no more streaks.
  • Pour this mixture into the prepared baking dish, and smooth out evenly.
  • Move to the refrigerator to chill for 1 hour.
  • For the next layer, microwave another 1 cup of white chocolate chips, 1/3 can of sweetened condensed milk, and 1/2 tbsp. butter just like you did the first.
  • Add orange gel coloring, and stir until there are no streaks.
  • Pour this mixture over the yellow layer, and smooth out evenly.
  • Put the fudge back into the refrigerator to chill for another hour.
  • For the final layer, microwave another round of 1 cup white chocolate chips, 1/3 can of sweetened condensed milk, and 1/2 tbsp. butter.
  • Don't add any coloring, we will leave this one white.
  • Add the final mixture over top of the orange layer and smooth out evenly.
  • Place the fudge back into the refrigerator to chill for 4 more hours.
  • Cut into squares, and if desired, top each piece with a candy corn.
