Activate the yeast – In a large bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar.
Stir and let sit until the mixture becomes foamy, about 5–10 minutes.
Make the dough – Add olive oil and salt, then stir in the flour until a dough begins to form. Transfer to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
First rise – Shape the dough into a ball, cover, and let rise in a warm spot until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Prepare the pan – Grease a 9x13 baking pan. Press the risen dough evenly into the pan, spreading it to fit. Cover again and let rise for about 30 minutes.
Bake – Preheat the oven to 425°F. Brush the dough with melted butter, then score the top into 10 equal breadsticks.
Bake for 18 minutes, or until lightly golden.
Season – Remove from the oven and brush with more melted butter. Sprinkle
evenly with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese
Serve – Cut along the scored lines and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping
