Ingredients:
- Bailey’s Irish Cream – This necessary for the flavoring so don’t pass on this.
- Vanilla Vodka – You can use any brand or kind. Whipped vanilla vodka works great!
- Half n Half – Gives a creamy texture and flavor. Can use whole milk instead.
- Amaretto – Don’t pass on this.
- White Icing – You can use homemade or pre-made white/vanilla frosting.
- Christmas Jimmies Sprinkles – Any Christmas Sprinkles will do.
Notes:
- Serve Immediately: For the best flavor and consistency, serve the drink right after mixing. If you need to store it for a short time (a few hours), make sure it’s covered and refrigerated, as the dairy may not hold up well when mixed with alcohol for too long.
- Chilled Ingredients: I recommend using pre-chilled ingredients to keep things cool. If your liquids aren’t already cold, toss a few ice cubes into the cocktail shaker before mixing.
- Sprinkle Swap: Feel free to switch up the sprinkles to match your holiday party theme—any festive Christmas sprinkles will work perfectly!
Christmas Sugar Cookie Shot
PREP TIME: 5 minutes
TOTAL TIME: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 3 ounces Bailey’s Irish Cream
- 3 ounces vanilla vodka
- 2 ounces half n half or Whole Milk
- 2 ounces Amaretto
- white icing
- Christmas jimmies sprinkles
Instructions
- Using a butter knife, coat the rim of each shot glass with a thin layer of frosting.
- Fill a small bowl with Christmas sprinkles and gently press the rim of each shot glass into the sprinkles until it’s fully covered all the way around. Take care to not twist the shot glass in the sprinkles, but press it, lift the shot glass, rotate slightly, and then press the uncovered portion of the rim into the sprinkles again. Repeat this until it’s covered, but be sure to lift and rotate, don’t move it around while buried in the sprinkles or it actually removes the frosting.
- Add the Bailey’s, vodka, half n half, and amaretto to a cocktail shaker.
- Gently shake or stir to combine.
- Strain into the prepared shot glasses, equally. Cheers!
