  • Cream cheese, softened
  • Sour cream
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Fresh parsley
  • Yellow bell pepper
  • Roma tomatoes
  • Sliced almonds
  • Star cookie cutter

How to make Christmas Tree Cheese Ball

Ingredients
  

  • 3 8 oz. packages of cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 bunch fresh parsley
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup roma tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • star cookie cutter

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, fold together the cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Once the ingredients are all well incorporated, form the cheese ball into a cone shape.
  • Wrap the cheese cone in plastic wrap, and chill for 4 hours or over night.
  • Before serving, chop the parsley fine, and add a layer of parsley over the entire cheese ball.
  • Use your star cookie cutter to cut a star out of the bell pepper, and chop a few small pieces of bell pepper, as well.
  • Press the sliced almonds into the cheese ball to make a garland shape.
  • Then, decorate the cheese ball. Add the bell pepper star, some halved Roma tomatoes, and the bell pepper pieces.
  • Serve with crackers.
