Notes:

  •  I used chocolate chunks but you can use any chocolate chips you’d like.
  • Cover leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days.
  • You can heat in the microwave for 5-10 seconds to get it gooey and soft.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bars

How to make Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bars for Fall

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 cup unsalted sweet cream butter softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ cups semi sweet chocolate Chunks

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Line a brownie baking dish with parchment paper and spay with pam spray, set aside
  • Using a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda and salt and whisk to combine. Set aside
  • Using a standing mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  • Mix in the egg and vanilla and beat until combined
  • Mix in the pumpkin puree and beat until combined
  • Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until combined
  • Fold in ¾ C of the semi sweet chocolate chips and the chocolate chunks
  • Spread batter into your brownie baking dish
  • Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips and chunks onto the batter
  • Bake in the oven for 30-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
  • Allow to cool completely before cutting it and enjoying!
