How to make Pumpkin Spice Bourbon Derby Pie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup unsalted sweet cream butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons pumpkin spice bourbon
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie shell

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325°F and place your pie shell on a cookie sheet.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together sugar and flour.
  • Whisk in the eggs, melted butter, and pumpkin spice bourbon until smooth and combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
  • Pour the batter into the pie shell and bake for 50–60 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool completely, then top with fresh whipped cream before serving.
