How to Make Pumpkin Spice Fudge

How to make Pumpkin Spice Fudge
Ingredients
- 14 oz white chocolate chips
- 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter softened
- ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon plus 2 tablespoons for sprinkling on top
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ cup pumpkin purée
Instructions
- Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper and lightly spray the parchment with nonstick baking spray.
- Set aside.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the white chocolate chips and condensed milk.
- Stir frequently until the chocolate has completely melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the softened butter until melted and fully incorporated.
- Add the salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, and pumpkin purée, stirring until everything is evenly mixed and smooth.
- Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
- Let the fudge sit at room temperature overnight to firm up completely.
- Once set, sprinkle the remaining cinnamon evenly over the top, then cut into 1–2 inch squares.

Do you need to set on counter overnight to set? Can you place in the refrigerator to chill and set? Is this a hard or soft set candy? Either way this recipe is calling my name . TY

It is in the instructions in the recipe card at the bottom but as a reminder, it says "Let the fudge sit at room temperature overnight to firm up completely." I've always had trouble putting my fudge in the fridge as I find it becomes too hard. This is more of a hard type fudge candy. :)
