Ingredients Needed:

  • Red Velvet Cake Mix: I like to use Ducan Hines but any brand will work.
  • White Cake Mix: Again, I like Duncan Hines but you can use your favorite brand.
  • Green Gel Food Coloring: Better than regular food coloring. Gives a better overall color due to being more saturated without making the batter watery.
  • Eggs
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Powdered Sugar

Helpful Information:

  • Roll the dough balls in powdered sugar until fully covered for a vibrant crinkle effect as they bake.
  • For uniform cookies, use a cookie scoop to measure out the dough. This ensures even baking.
  • Crinkle cookies should be soft and chewy. Bake until just set; they’ll continue to cook slightly on the baking sheet as they cool.
