- Egg
- Vanilla extract
- Lemon zest
- Lemon juice

How to make Lemon Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and line a cookie sheet with parchment.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar, until fluffy.
- Add the egg, vanilla, lemon zest, and lemon juice, and mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet, mixing until just combined.
- Use a 1 1/2 inch cookie scoop to scoop the cookies onto the parchment, placing them at least 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
